This new G4 dimmable bulb looks very promising.
But still a bit expensive. I have to try one when the price goes down ;-)

Xenon on our Astraen

I have ordered xenon kit for our Opel Astra for high beam and low beam, 55w for high beam and 35w for low beam. I chose 3000k bulbs. Got the kit for high beam to day, I should have waited for low beam kit before mounting but could not wait.

The front must be removed so there is some work.

Found nice place for the HID ballast for high beam, I hope it will be as easy with the low beam. It`s crowded on newer cars.......

Very good light but a bit to yellow. I should have bought 4300k bulbs...

I have also mounted on low beam but no pictures....

This looks cheap and good, have no experience with the manufacturer....

LED work light

Bought 10W LED work light with one diode on ebay, should provide 800lm. Mounted on the back of a tractor. Was probably a little weaker compare to 55w halogen h1 that was there from before but good angle and good contrast for working light. Light is strong but lights short. It become better with new wiring.
